HFS, or “Damn, I’m so lazy to upload files…”
…Let’s imagine a situation – you need to transfer files. Yes, just transfer files to a person who is located at an unknown distance from you. Or on a tablet/smartphone, especially if there is WiFi. Or… well, something like that.
What we usually do? That’s right, we send the files to file dumps, to dropbox/sugarsync/MS Live/minus/to our own server (if you have one)/etc. etc. etc.
Today I may tell you a scary thing, but that doesn’t make it any less effective and useful.
Today I’ll tell you… no, the word is still wrong. Today I will show you one program that will solve some problems with transferring and transferring files to all sorts of devices and to all kinds of friends and strangers.
HFS.
Well, or Http www.primescratchcardscasino.uk File Server.
Hmm, I don’t think it turned out to be epic. Oh well.
The principle is simple. Let’s launch the program..
…essentially, everything is ready. All that remains is to simply drag the files into the program window (or, to be more precise, into the field labeled as Virtual File System), go to the browser from another computer/device, type the desired address (it is indicated at the top of the program) and..
(Lyrical digression: this is the program window)
(And this is what is displayed in the browser)
…we’ll get something like this. (Brief explanation: the red folder is the “Real folder”, as it is written in the help – “good for large files”; the regular yellow folder is the “Virtual folder”, or “good for small files”)
In fact – everything.
Generally speaking, the program has many settings, add-ons and all that, including you can even change the design of this very page.
Everyone will find the advantages of this program for themselves, but the disadvantages… Well, I will definitely point out one – the server address matches your IP address. For some this is very critical.

I’ve been using it for who knows how long. Only condition: You need a static IP address. + You can find a free name for yourself and link it to the program., so as not to remember the IP.
Oh yes, I use it myself to transfer files to a smartphone or tablet that is connected via WiFi. The speed is very decent.
Well, if you transfer files to someone else on your Internet, then the upload speed will be the same as… the upload speed of your channel.
